Undoing 301 Redirects

My company, is an online costume retailer. Last year we redid our website's structure and eliminated a lot of theme pages. We 301 redirected the specific theme pages to broader category pages.

Our traffic suffered as a result of the restructuring and now we're recreating many of the pages that we removed.

Is it worth going through the old redirects from the old structure and creating new redirects that point to the new pages we created? Would the new 301 redirects be recognized by Google?

A redirect isn't a guarantee Google will allow the new page to keep the old page rank position.

Yes Google will see the new 301s, eventually.

My advice is get some personalized SEO consulting and review the site structure.

I'm more so wondering if the potential of the old page rank transfer is worth the effort of undoing the 301 redirects
