Help? Why are Market Samauri and WordTracker giving me completely different results?!?!

I thought i'd found a great two word phrase for a niche site via Market Samauri:

Daily searches: 1088
SEOC: 2210
(PBR is 0% though and i admit i don't understand what PBR is measuring so maybe that points to the problem below?)

Then I put the phrase into WordTracker (I put the words in with and without quotes around them too) - just the free version - and no results came up for those two words together - just them in a 4 or 5 word phrase - and even then the max daily search was 11 - yes just 11!

Then i tried just the main word and the max search is around 165/day

I'm baffled. Any ideas what's going on? And now which search do I believe?

Thanks for any help

I would take the Google tool over Wordtracker myself, but I've personally developed a policy of not building out a site unless two sources confirm the estimated traffic--there's just too many good keywords out there to risk it.

I'm just annoyed because MS is an expensive bit of sofware for it to not be accurate.

From the MS results i really thought i'd found a great niche (am i right?). I wonder if i did something wrong??

All keyword tools are wrong pretty regularly, even the expensive ones. Market Samurai pulls keyword results from the Google Keyword tool, so it's more like Google is wrong and not Samurai . That's why you gotta cross check between tools.

Then this is even more confusing because i just used the Google keyword tool - exact phrase match - and the monthly search is 58 (phrase match is 140)

I guess I should scrap the keywords i thought were so great.

Why are we all using these tools then when they are not accurate? Seems there is no substitute for:
          1) using Google keyword tool and then
          2) doing a google search for those words to check competition numbers...

          ugh... there goes my afternoon!
