Adsense in Wordpress Blogs

I changed my WP theme to BlueSense and it added adsense really painlessly. I just took my first ever google adsense <script ... /script> that they gave me, and pasted it over the existing scripts in the three 'hdr' files under 'Appearance->Editor'. Now I'm finding it very hard to put adsense in other blogs, and there doesn't seem to be much help online.

For instance, I really like the Atahualpa theme, but whenever I try to put my adsense in, either directly or via the Advertising Manager widget, the ads just get stretched out horizontally right across the entire screen. I'm going to start delving into the particulars of adsense display, and will probably figure out a way to format it to be consistent with the WP theme, but it strikes me that its kind of harder than I would have thought. I mean, shouldn't every decent theme have at least some sort of support for generic adsense, like BlueSense does?

From what I've read, the real big players in the adsense game use static html, Bluesense, and Heatmap--the latter two being Wordpress themes.

    I myself am testing BlueSense.

Well thats interesting. I've been running some Amazon autoblog sites and got discouraged by how few sales there were, so I moved some of them to BlueSense to see if it might help. Its a few days old now but no adsense clicks. One of my sites gets about 20 uniques (visitors) per day and I'm getting impatient about making money! Some of these keywords are hard to match to affiliates, too, except for Amazon. Also, nobody has signed up for my list yet, sigh.

HI Jayveen: You could try adsensenow plug in from WP, it only shows 3 ads per page in line with googles policy. After installation you can configure by clicking settings to show the ads top bottom middle etc. You simply paste your <script ... /script> right in to the box they provide in settings, also you can post any affiliate script in the same box-it may help you until you get better advice.
