Reached 1st Page on Google from 3rd page for HP keyword with one change in content

Hi friends,

I have just reduced the keyword density by seeing the changes on my keyword ranking.

Now I am very happy to say that I have reached 1st Page on Google for the keyword How to remove dandruff
My blog= Holistic Doctor Online

The changes I have done.
The number of keywords I have removed.

Naturally=2
Dandruff=1

Also removed 2 Tags for which I have not ranked yet.

My blog is just 5 months old and I reached 1st page, So domain age is not important to reach first page.
Also I have very less back links.
page rank=0.

In my case only keyword and content did this.

I think this thread will help new bloggers, because I also learned all this methods through forums.
Try reducing one keyword and see the ranking difference for post which has high keyword density.

  • Domain history is factor for ranking but the most important is content. If your content for focused keyword is the best-I mean long article, video and images included and outbund links in than you can outrank older websites. One more thing you have to include in article related keywords.

  • Each blog post has to be search engine optimized.

    Each new blog post title and body of text(H1, H2,H3 & H4) has to have keywords and LSI keywords in it. With the correct balance of both, it's easy to rank on the 1st page of Google.

    However, this page is a good example to show people that you do not need to have great content to rank a page. The content on that page is pretty bad. It reads horribly, and you still made it to page 2.

  • IMO domain authority is what matters the most, then how well you have optimized your website according to your targeted keyword and how well coded is your website. These are the things to consider these days.

  • Congrats. As for the ranking, Google changes search results like the wind it seems. Although some lock in their page 1 spot for weeks, but it takes a heavy obsession with SEO and community building and relationship building and some sweet, valuable link building to get it done.

    When I had a quick few days on page 1 for "how to submit a guest post" and "how to rank on page 1 of google for a competitive keyword" about 1 year ago, I found how being subtle is one key to nailing down a sweet ranking. Like how you switched things just a wee bit.

    Those changes you made have absolutely nothing to do with anything.

    • Actually in India its on the 10th position now. Not a personalized search, I cleared all my cache and opened with incognito.

      It will change location wise.

      No, traffic will never search Google via NCR, they'll use their own ccTLD Google search.

      Google has GEO located servers all over the world, AKA local SERPs.

      Example, you're not going to get all German text webpages while searching Google from Houston Texas.

  • great job!! As a content writer I will tell you this: The quality of content on your blog matters the most, you may appear on the first page but if your visitors come and go just like that you will have a high bounce rate and find yourself demoted to "other SERPs"

    Jus make sure that together with your strategic use of keywords, you also provide engaging content that attracts visitors to not only stay but also share the post on their social pages.
