    Wix "SEO" is handled by WIX themselves with premium addons only available through them. Users can do some optimization on the WIX backend but it is very limited.

    Really you answered your own question by stating Wordpress and Yoast. While Wix may be "free" there are plenty of free hosts that offer WP too.

    Untimely Wix does indeed stink all around.

    Wix is so bad for SEO they had to run a contest to try to convince people that Wix doesn't suck for SEO.

      You're right about the first part, wrong about Google not indexing Wix sites. It indexes them. The problem with them is that WIX's templates don't allow you to do much with anything. You're meant to just copy and paste stuff and never look under the hood.
