Static websites or blogs, which is better

Hi,

I'm currently using static websites for my AdSense sites.
Is it easier to use blogs? I'm thinking especially SEO wise, and regarding updates?
How much does pinging do for your rankings?

What are the pros and cons of each option?

    I've only ever used wordpress because I know it and it's so easy to use. There are also so many plug-ins available that you can pretty much do anything you want with it. You can also get into and modify the code if you want so you readdy do have the flexibility with a wordpress blog.

    As for rankings, someone else will have to compare the two platforms but I hacve to say I have never had a problem getting ranked with a WP blog.

    Makes no difference. Google sees and crawls "Pages". Both generate pages. Adsense isn't about the software creation tool.
