Why Does Google Display My URL as "Bubba Head" and Not "https://bubbahead.com" on the MOBILE SERP?

My website URL is https://bubbahead.com/. It used to be http://www.bubbahead.com but I switched to LiquidWeb as my host and the URL changed to https://bubbahead.com. Now on the Google Mobile SERP my URL only says "BubbaHead" under my meta-description. This happens on MOBILE ONLY. On desktop Google displays the full URL. Sorry, I tried to attach a screenshot of the mobile SERP but failed. You can replicate what I see by searching for "atlanta dui lawyer" and scrolling down to position 2. I'm stumped. Please help. Thank you!
#bubba head #display #google #https or or bubbaheadcom #mobile #serp #url

    The question I am asking myself is "why is this important?" Do think you are losing clicks because the full URL (which very few real internet users see or even know what they are) is not showing?

    The answer, however, may have something to do with the schema markup on your site - http://searchengineland.com/google-r...mb-path-219064

      Yes, you nailed it! I worry that I am using clicks. And I also worry that searchers will see only "Bubba Head" and think it is fishy or not a legitimate site. Have I fallen prey to thinking that searchers pay as close attention to the SERPS as me - someone who stares at this stuff 8 hours a day? If you think it is not click-impacting then I will ignore it. Thank you for the quick reply!

        For sure, I believe people in this industry are far more in tune with things like URLs, Title tags, meta descriptions, etc. Talk to a regular internet user and ask them to enter something into the address bar and they have no clue what you are talking about.

        I do understand your concern; however, for those that do pay attention to those things, your unique name might cause some puzzlement vs. a name like "James Jones". Then again, the title tag along with the meta description underneath should clear up those concerns (assuming people actually read - BIG assumption!).

        I'm sure there is a way to change that via schema markup, though. Admittedly, I do not handle the technical markup aspects of our websites and I could be totally wrong, but the line of code in the HEAD section that appears to be causing it is:

        <meta property="og:site_name" content="William C. &quot;Bubba&quot; Head" />

        The quotation marks around "Bubba" might be causing the issue in that line of code (&quote; is HTML markup for quotation marks)

        I'm not sure where this is in your platform, which I think is WordPress, but I have a feeling the "site name" is somewhere in the Yoast SEO plugin. See if you can find it somewhere in there (or anywhere else - like the general settings) where you have put Bubba in quotes. If you find it, just leave that site name blank or put your URL there and it might fix the problem.

    Thanks, Dave, for the detective work! Maybe your username should be "SERPico"!
