Best Domain Name for a new blog

Hi there. I am going live with a new blog and have purchased several similar domains. I am not sure which one
is best for seo.

I own all of these, just not sure which is best. Any advice is appreciated.

life101.co
life-101.net
life-101.us

The .com options are either taken or are for sale for 50k on the secondary market. I am going back and forth between the first 2. life101.co is better because there are no dashes. life-101.net
uses dashes, but the .net domain is preferable to .co domain.

Or does it not matter as long as the pages I have setup have good keywords, descriptions and other seo.

I would go with .net easier to get ranked in the search engine...

I wouldn't go for any of those - sorry. People are always going to make mistakes typing those urls. Stick to alphabetic letters.
Are you stuck with name 101? Can you find something else?

Well...it is supposed to be a take off of the way college courses are numbers Acct-101 for example. So...the 101 is pretty key here. Thanks for your insight.

If I have to choose one among these, I would go for life-101.net

.us fits with the name life. It sounds collective and symbolic. I know this isn't a technical reason but if you are confident about your content, keywords, descriptions etc. Then any of the three can work for you. If so I'd rather choose the one that seems to fit the most with the concept or the name. Then again .net would be an optimal choice.

Thank you for your comment. Others are recommending the .net for SEO.

If you're talking for SEO then I would always go .com .net or .org.

I wouldn't try ranking the other extensions. That's just a personally preference though.

Try checking some of the keywords that you are going to end up targeting. Do you see any of them ranking .us or other extensions?

Maybe. But not nearly as much.

I wouldn't do anything at the start that could be so easily avoided to put yourself in any kind of disadvantage or uphill battle.

Anyway, that's my super long-winded version of saying I would choose #2 (even though I HATE dashes =)

Why are you stuck to use '101' in your domain? Being SEO-friendly, (.com is not available) you can go with .net.

Thanks for your reply. The 101 is a take on how colleges number their courses. So...Introduction to Accounting is ACCT-101. Most others are recommending the .net as well.

According to the SEO rules, I would go with .net extension because .com, .net and .org are the top extension in SEO. But I would suggest to take domain without any special character.
