Local signups mean create profile links.. mention your profiles location in texas.. your can try knowem.com for profile link building resources..

Local directories are like yelp, google local etc.. find more in whitespark.ca

submit your business in as much local directories as you can.. i use whitespark.ca to track all available directories in the area (free / paid) and submit on those directories..

you can do local seo for that specific city. or you can do paid marketing vai Facebook or twitter or ad words for boost up your business.

if you can spend then i suggest go to facebook PPC marketing. it really effective. And most interesting things is, you can target various people on specific city.

not at all.
suppose your desire city is California

then you should do seo for california.
submit your website to california business listing sites, profile citation sites. that's the best for local seo or Specific city( California)

on the other hand, if you didn't find enough business listing or citation sites then you can go full USA based business listing and citation sites.

Nikhil,

It depends what you're trying to achieve.

If you want to do a long-term play then I would say making a landing page for that specific city, optimize and rank it for your target keywords.

If you just want exposure and to target that area, try running a promotion like a giveaway or something like that to the city via a city-specific forum or subreddit, have the opt-in for a chancel to win and then market via email on the backend.

City facebook groups are something else you could check out.

Google + also has city specific communities and groups you could be apart of.

It's really all about what your goals are.

You can target a particular city with facebook ads. Just need select your targeted cities in demographics section and run FB ads. It would be great.

I would say, if it's your start of business then all those marketing materials will take time to be worked, but as u also know startup cost must b average.

So my advice is to you is; MARKET YOUR BUSINESS WITH YOUR FAMILIES, FRIENDS & RELATIVES & TELL THEM to refer others.

Reach local bloggers, influencer and Instagram people they will help you for product promotion.

Also, create Google Advertising campaign with search network and use location extension and target only specific city you want.

Create Facebook Ad and target city you want to show your ads. Facebook will show you amount of people by location
