Onsite Keyword Optimization

Hey Guys,

I keep reading that a website should only be focused and optimized for one general keyword. But, What if you have a blog? For ex, my personal (work in progress) blog is The Official Blog Of Tim Scott The "Entrepertainer"

Now I'm still learning SEO, so I'm working on Title tags, and all that stuff, but I can't figure out how I should optimize my blog fo keywords. Some keys I used for the meta are:

"Home based business,mlm,direct sales,network marketing,multi level marketing,make money online"

Should I try to optimize for all these since I'm in the home biz industry, or just focus on one? Any and all help is most appreciated. Thanks guys.

    • I agree. You may choose keywords which may describe your blog as a whole But don't use too many keywords as this would not be effective in optimizing, imo. Longtail keywords also help.
