Hello quick question to the community,

Modern Google has changed and you no longer stuff your keyword multiple times to try and rank right?

LSI keywords are important, but I have a few questions about them.

Say I am writing a blog post and I have chosen my following keywords:

Header/Seed/Main KW: best baseball exercises
Long-Tail Keyword: best baseball plyometric exercises

Now although, I'd love to rank for the main KW, getting into the top 10 is harder than ever these days. So the content is targeting the long tail phrase: "best baseball plyometric exercises"

I have all my elements, the phrase in Page Title, Headline etc. but now I need to sprinkle some LSI keywords and phrases.

When I go into my tool of choice LSIgraph which keyword do I put in?

Am I trying to find LSI keywords/phrases for the head or long tail?

Can you guys share your best practices to go about LSI keyword implementation for 2017? What are do's and don't's?

Here is another example:

Main KW: Pharmaceutical manufacturers
Long Tail: Top Pharmaceutical manufacturers in India

The intent has changed now which route do I go?
