Hi guys,
I am creating a web site for dogs, and my home page is the money page.

I am going to create 200 pages for dog breeds, and link back to homepage, so essentially it will be 200 links within a week towards homepage, is that ok? Would that be like spamming?

Google doesn't care how many external or internal links you create in a week.

  • Don't target only home page, use the 200 links inner pages and home pages naturally.

It is all Ok, but from a user perspective, maybe it is worth sub categorising the 200 pages so that the pages are easier to navigate

is that ok to use the same key word? like. "dog food" will be link to home page? (thats my main key word)

Only one link from the page to home page?

think about it from a user perspective rather than a googlebot perspective - usually if it is good for people it is good for google. If you went on to your site and wanted to find something specific about dogs, would you be able to do it within max 3 clicks of the home page?

      e.g. Home/DogFood/DryDogFood/Wainwrights.

Categorising your site will make it easier for users to find what they are looking for, which means that you will likely have a better bounce rate and are therefore likely to optimise your site better and get better returns for your investment

Yes, If you create internal links to home page then it helps you to create link juice.

    Its absolutely fine buddy.
Google likes internal linking but still for better results I recommend to follow "SILO STRUCTURE"
you will get tons of articles and videos explaining SILO STRUCTURE. Go through it.

    Hey

That's not a problem at all. I suggest, create anchor texts to a number of different keywords, write quality blogs in a natural way. Don't focus too much on keyword density and write long articles / content pages - somewhere around 1000-1200 words.

    Good luck.
