Hi

Is it good or bad to add a link within content of many web pages (ex. Contact us here for assistance) that takes readers to the Contact Us page?

    Hey Shaun,
    Internal linking is great to pass the link juice to inner pages of the website.
    If you have a blog then you must give the link to your older blog posts, home pages, and other important pages.

    It is a good practice for your website and making users to engage them with other content of your web page by adding internal links. You can decrease your bounce rate and increased avg duration of users spending time on your website also improve your ranking on search results.

    I do not understand why you would like your users to reach your contact us page. If you are providing any service and willing to capture leads then you can use some other lead form.

    Linking to contact page does not make any sense to me.

      If both pages are relevant to each other then you can link both. But this depends upon situation. If both the pages have no contents but just one link each to pass to each other, then that is the dumbest thing to do.
      And if both pages have multiple links, among which some are inter-connected with relevancy then there is no problem.
