    Only having backlinks won't works.! you have to do other Off page SEO activities to be on the top. First, check On page SEO and after that go for Off page SEO.

    Even after creating good backlinks, your web page is not in Google's top 10, check if the content is fine or not. Do on-page SEO audit and check the keyword competition. If you are trying to get into top 10 results for a keyword which has high competition, it will be difficult to get good results and time taking too. Try focusing on keywords which have medium to low competition first. This should create a good traffic movement on your website.

    There is no limit for good backlinks in SEO.. if your keyword is not in google's first page keep finding new websites with high DA n PA and set your link their.

    What type of backlinks you got? I can always help you out get or find better links. Basically you should aim for dofollow forum links and guest posts links. Those two are the best i find.

    Until you do, you could wait quite some time (if ever) to make it onto page one - even with far better content.

    preeti0123, there's more to ranking than just the backlinks. They may be good but you are behind in other ranking factors. Or are good but not good enough to get on the first page, ignoring for now other ranking factors. Or they are not good, despite what you may think. It is after all just your opinion and if you want to rank high on Google, the only opinion that counts is Google's.


    Good backlinks does not by itself guarantee top 10 ranking. As I and a few others said, there's more to it than that. You need to have a page that is clear as to what the topic is, the keywords you want to use. The page's title also needs to reflect that and also catchy so that when you are ranked, searchers are attracted to it and click your link. A good page description tag helps too. As for your backlinks, same thing and linked to relevant pages.

      I agree with this, but decided to concentrate on the easiest thing to determine right off the bat. While on-page SEO is fairly simple and pretty cut and dried, content is pretty subjective. I am constantly amazed by the people who claim they have "great contents", which is the first indication that the pages I am going to see are a grammatical train wreck. Of course, the same can be said of backlinks where the "great" ones that people say they have are all directory links, forum links and comment links.

    At first check your website On page optimize that you did successfully or maintained in Google on page policy. If this optimization are quite well so change the off page back-link building process that you did before.
