Combined % for both?

Say you are aiming for 2-3% main phrase in addition what % should be lsi?

Let's assume we are writing an article in this scenario.

Hey, All answers will differ here as different figures work for different people. For me I use my main keywords in first line of first paragraph in article then in last paragraph, in H1 and H2 tag, H3 tag ALT text, 1 times in bold, 1 time in italic (This is for 100+0 words article).

Then I naturally spread all my LSI keywords and dont follow any % wise figure. I hope there is no such % wise rule of thumb. Just keep in mind that it shouldn't look like spam to human reader.

    Regards,

Having keywords in H1 tags etc is good practice but the italic and bold is to me mythical. the idea that google engineers built into their algo counting the <b> </b> tags makes no sense especially since modern css has ways of accentuating text without those tags.

some people with pluigins they wanted to sell started that myth going.

Counting words isn't SEO. It's not going to rank anything.

agreed......keyword density is not something I have even bothered to think about in many many years (probably back to the bad old days when keyword stuffing was a thing).

have good content that covers the subject well. The end.

Agreed in my tests it's what I've noticed as well. In my top blog post the main keyword was used once.

My other question would be is the main keyword necessary in h1, 2,3 as well. All or just like h1?

Ideally, there is no percentage of keyword density. You should focus on content quality and write an article in natural way.

    Hope, that helps.

You should definitely go for 100%. If you achieve 100% keyword density, what else are they going to rank you for?

    All your problems are solved.

In my opinion,% of primary keywords from 1 to 2% is reasonable. Why is there a thought on keyword density, since it determines where the primary keyword is the secondary keyword without bold or italicized keywords to bad posts.
