I'm not sure which tool you are using for your "spam score" but if it is one of the more popular tools, it is probably fairly accurate. That said, I'm not sure why anyone would need a tool to tell them if a link they built is spam or not.

If you placed it yourself and the other website had nothing to do with deciding to have it on their site, it is almost always spam.

If the other website had to make a decision about whether or not to link to your site, it is 100% of the time NOT spam.

    Hello,

According to me the spam score 3/17 it could be Good, 6/17 (medium) and 11/17 it could be the reason of tension and your website getting the ban and its depend on the tool which tool you are using to know spam score. If you are creating quality backlinks then your website cannot be ban.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Steven

      Thank you, Steven Henry.
I was suggested to create backlinks from those websites which spam score is 0/17.
You relieved my tension a bit.
      Thanks for your opinion.

High spam score is not a good signal for quality backlinks.

          Hey Belayet,

according me for removing the bad backlinks a long term process. just focus on creating good quality backlins. Google bot automatically crawled your good backlinks and decrease the spam score.

          Thanks & Regards,
          Steven

    Hi Belayet,

Spam Score helps you to know the quality of the website. The lower the spam score, the better it is.
Make sure that you submit your links to websites which have low spam score. The quality of the website you are submitting a link is very important as it will lead the bots towards your website.

MOZ is a very good tool to check the spam score of a website.

The spam score from Moz is pretty useless. It's useless because it is based on their backlink index which is pretty awful.
