I'm going to buy an expired domain which have good metrics, registered in 2008. But i heard before going to buy any expire domain we must check domain by this query "site:abc.com" if google never show any result by domain the site never indexed ever. Is that true?

Well expired domain you should check the organic traffic on semrush.com if it has organic traffic before or till now then buy it. If not, but have good domain authority Say (25+) and trust flow (10+) buy it. If nothing then forget it.

That query tells you nothing useful. It tells you if the domain is indexed right now, today.

I also wouldn't buy anything based on metrics. Metrics are completely unreliable. You'll end up buying worthless domains.

You might also check to see if any site created with the domain has ever been blacklisted by google by going to:

AdSense Account Disabled? Banned from AdSense?

That tool is garbage. It is just checking if the domain is indexed or not, which doesn't tell you anything useful, especially in the case of expired domains.

They have no way of knowing if the site was ever blacklisted by Google. Google doesn't publish a list.
