After the recent flood of Google algorithm updates, it has become hard for SEO professionals to rely on selected tools to get relevant and authentic research data on competitors as well as there link building practices.

As the entire SERP paradigm is shifting towards machin learning, it is advised to stick with the SEO tools, which are best in the business.

Few of them are Ahrefs, SEMRUSH, Majestic SEO etc

This tools are precise in terms of research data necessary for link building practices.

    I am using Ahrefs, SEMRUSH, Majestic SEO tool for our website analysis & also for competitor analysis. All these tools show appropriate results but all these tools are paid & in trial version, they only show small results. So, for full benefits of these tools, you should upgrade to premium version of these tool.

    I am using SEmrush from last 2 years, works fine. Gives you the instant result on your targeted keywords. But it not always gives you the exact result as Google doesn't allow any tool to know the exact strategy on searches.

    I personally use SEO PowerSuite and would recommend you to try at least the free version if you haven't!
    Rank Tracker is super handy for analyzing top competitors for a keyword and track super-local rankings.
    Website Auditor is cool for detecting all kinds of errors and tech issues.

    semursh and majestic seo are paid tools so I avoid using those!

    Also they beat semrush keyword tool as well.

    Link building research I only use google tools, like its advance search operators.
    For competitor analysis, ahrefs will do. Too many tools will just create confusion. I suggest to use what you are comfortable to use.

    There are many tools in market but i recommend using Ahrefs (Best Backlinks analysis tool) and Agency analytics to website analysis and campaign management. You can also use Brightlocal for Local SEO.
