I'm a freelance writer who decided to start writing for myself. It's been a while since I launched a site, but I got to tell you that things are much tougher than they were a few years ago.

I have contacted google and the company indexed my site. But google is not indexing some of my better original content. Is this the new way?

Am I doing something wrong, or does it take a year and tons of quality posts for google to recognize a site. If so, I can see why less writers might not be launching sites.
