Yes, definitely if its worth to have SEO as Career. As you know industry is growing very rapidly and competitors are rising. People don't have much time waste on marketing, they need instant results without losing much time. I think SEO demands will grow much rapidly as the industry will grow. And hence to have SEO as a career is worth, IMO.

There is always demand for SEO consultants here in London as its such a fast paced industry.

What I would suggest is before you embark on trying to find work whichever country you are in, please build up a portfolio of sites, keywords that you have tried to rank for, initial benchmarking so you can prove the results. Get everything tracked etc. You will also be asked about your approach, strategy and how you physically do the work.

I've often found then when I used to carry out interviews for PPC staff, a lot of people used to talk about management but didn't know the basics of PPC and these people are managing campaigns of over £50,000 per month?????? Thats ludicrous!

Let your qork do the talking oh and try and think outside the box, I often find with my indian friends who I outsource to, the feedback we get is always 'reactive' and not 'proactive'. If you can think 'outside the box', add value to your employer and they realise this then you will have a great deal of success.

    Good luck

I would suggest building a strong porfolio of sites you've worked your magic on, it's an essential part of landing that dream job.

    Best of luck

If you really like the things that you are trying to do, working with that does make sense. It's not the type of a career that makes it a good choice but the way you feel about it.
