I tend to try things out and test to see if I can figure things out.
Here is my question on my campaigns so far I have 8 going

Currently I have

80,000 impressions

80 clicks

0 sales

is this typical, they are mostly clickbank and cpa offers.

Thanks for all your help

There's no such thing as "typical" when it comes to adwords. 80 clicks isn't a whole bunch to start with. We need more data than that.

What other data do you need? I started the campaigns about 6 hours ago and the majority of the clicks are from 2 out 8 campaigns.

Usually, you need to spend at least $50-$100 on a campaign before you throw it out. But it depends on the offer of course.. What are you promoting?

      Hi woohah,

It's not wise to lump all your keywords, ad groups and campaigns together to evaluate and make decisions.

You should be looking at each individual keyword and ad text, evaluate each one separately and independently. You are likely to have some good ones which you will want to keep and invest in more heavily and you will have some stinkers that you will need to cull.

Some ads will need testing and tweaking, you should be testing alternate ads for each ad group.

We are running multiple ads for each offer, but you are saying I should group keywords and stop the one that are not converting. I have taking one of are campaigns and built out a pre sell page that is converting with 4 sales today. I guess not to bad for starting on monday. So I have mad around $100 dollars in profit. Do you typically group similar keywords together or just a few together and run different ads.

So far we have spent around $20 dollars for the $100 dollar profit.

        Thanks

          Hi woohah,

The tighter your ad groups the better. Since one keyword per ad group is the smallest number that's what I usually use.

$100 profit on a $20 ad spend id pretty good, but some of your keywords are bringing those sales and some others may not be working well at all. You need to manage your campaigns right down to the individual keyword.

Woohah, I don't call myself a professional in adwords but I have been advertising with adwords for 5 years with lots of different web site and products. So I will tell you with my experience.

Anyway what I always do is if you advertise worldwide, I always create different campaigns targeting different regions in the world. This will give you the idea which region convert the most. As some countries have very low purchasing power.

I always group U.S, AUS, NZ, UK and Canada in one separate campaign. The conversion rate always been great with those.
