Hello there,

I have a question please.

When it comes to SEO and ranking in SERPs like Google, what will happen if you let the title tag of Yoast empty? Does Google automatically use the H1 title instead then? If so what about ranking of the website?

I have a an article inside of my website, I tried to rank it but I failed. the baclinks I generated didn't help for this page, while they worked for another page of the website. I noticed that the only difference between these 2 pages is that for one the Title tag of yoast was left empty. So what do you mates think?

Fianlly what about meta description? what if we let it empty?

Thank you.

I am not 100% sure but I think it will put the first line of the page's content as meta title and in meta description it will put the first part of your article.

Meta title is useless in 2017.

Google will come up with whatever is appropriate for the search at hand.

They do this whether you have a title (NOT FRIGGIN META) tag, or not.
