The ways of link building for Swedish geo

Generally, the response rate is going to be very low for email outreach (I'm assuming that is what you are doing). I never answer that crap on my own sites. I get 10 or more a day. It's just annoying.

At best, you can probably expect a 5% response rate. Some will say more. Some will say less.

So getting zero responses from a few dozen attempts is not all that unusual. The more popular the sites are you choose, the more likely they get hit with this stuff constantly, and the less likely they are to respond to you.

I would do a few things differently. If there is a phone number on the website, pick up the phone and call them.

If their address is listed in WhoIs details, send them regular mail, but use something unusual with the envelope so it is more likely to be opened, like a brown envelope with some packaging material inside. If you want to guarantee it is opened, send a FedEx or UPS package. Those always get opened.

Lastly, if you do not have the balls or budget for these options, then I would try to find them on social media. You are more likely to get a response to a message on a Facebook page or DM in Twitter than you are with email.

TYPES OF ANCHOR TEXTS YOU SHOULD USE:

Exact-Match
Anchor text is "exact match" if it includes a keyword that mirrors the page that is being linked to. For example: 'link building' linking to a page about link building.

Partial-Match
Anchor text that includes a variation of the keyword on the linked-to page. For example: 'link building strategies' linking to a page about link building.

Branded
A brand name used as anchor text. For example: 'BHW' linking to an article on the BHW Forum.

Naked Link
A URL that is used as an anchor 'www.abcde.com' is a naked link anchor.

Generic
A generic word or phrase that is used as the anchor. "Click here" or "Read more" is a common generic anchor.

Images
Whenever an image is linked, Google will use the text contained in the image's alt attribute as the anchor text.
