How to recover lost position in SERP result at Google?

I've started an SEO project as test. I selected an entertainment website for this project. It is basically a tv shows website and it's contents updating on daily basis.
Before some weeks it's SERP rank is very good then I made some changes in categories and urls structure. After a few days of these changes, website SERP is suddenly drops from first page to 4th-5th pages. Then I reverted the changes and tried best to get the previous position but in vain.
I've tried almost all things what I can do. Would you please suggest any good advise please?

    Firs, if you made the changes on the website then there was no need to revert those changes because when you made these type of changes in the website you mentioned above, it will hurt your ranking but you did the mistake to revert those changes.
    Go to your Google Webmasters and make requests for crawling the website again see results in the SERP. And focus on your work but it takes time to show the results on the top.

      Thanks sksharma your advise is good and I really appreciate your reply. I didn't made any changes in website. This website daily update it's contents. Could you please take a review and suggest something good to improve SERP rank? Thanks in advance.
