Hello to SEO community, from the last 3-4 days I am noticing a massive drop in the SEO ranking for most of my client's website. Is there any update Google is rolling these days?

No Google update is necessary for this to happen.

When competing web pages reduce their bounce rate, or experience improved click-thru from Google, THEIR ranking might easily be improved enough to have them rank better than your client's web page. It's possible that another web site has simply added a new page/post to their site that naturally ranks better than your client's page - thus pushing your client's page down in the relative position in the results.

Bounce rate and click-thru rate are not ranking factors.

While I don't consider myself a serious SEO guy, I do try to keep my ears open by following sites like MOZ and SearchEngineLand. And I haven't heard any rumblings recently.

Obviously, that doesn't mean there's nothing going on.

Either something is happening, or the SEO in charge of your client's rankings either did or failed to do something.

Sid's explanation might account for a page's dropping a few spots, but hard to see such a thing causing "massive" drops.

Google updates their algorithm over 400 times per year.

It might be from an update. I doubt it though. There are tons of things that can cause a ranking drop.

To be honest Google will secretly roll out updates without us knowing because they will want to protect their search engine without people gaming it , sadly there are black hatters along with white hatters.

So my personal advice would be to always stick to the original seo method of marketing which you can read in their free report digital garage or follow their youtube videos.

Changes will always occur now and again but the solid foundation simplicty seo will remain i believe.
