    Absolutely not. Your Alexa ranking has no bearing whatsoever on search engine rankings. Alexa even tells you that their traffic estimator is just a guess. They have no data on your website nor any of the ones that are your competitors.

        If by "they" you mean the search engines, they NEVER used Alexa for ranking websites. I have no clue why Alexa exists and never have understood why people have ever cared about Alexa. It has never been accurate because Alexa does not have ANY data on the number of people who are visiting any websites except for the extremely small percentage of those sites that have allowed them to place a cookie on them to track traffic.

    No. Alexa rank is just a number. It is not even directly beneficial on your SEO. In short, it is irrelevant and you can forget about it.

    Don't rely on Alexa ranking all the time. It's just a waste of time. Instead, you should build quality backlinks for your site to improve its ranking in Google & other search engines.

    If your inbound link is of high authority, then it will play a major role in boosting the rank of your website in Google easily. Ultimately, it will drive more traffic to your site because of its popularity.

    Alexa ranking is calculating based on number of daily traffic visits to the website and also number of inbound links, external links and authority.

      Sorry, but you are very incorrect. Alexa has no idea how many visits your website or any other website gets. They have no way of tracking how many people come to yours or any other website. Their site even tells you that their numbers are estimates based on where you rank. It definitely has nothing to do with the number of links, inbound or outbound (as if outbound links have anything at all to do with your site's traffic), nor does it have anything to do with your site's "authority" (a totally invented arbitrary number ... where do people come up with this stuff?). In other words, they have as good a chance of guessing the number of visitors to a website as you do.

    Alexa ranking depends heavily on the users who installed alexa toolbar or extensions in the browser. so if you have alexa extension installed and your regularly visiting some website the alexa rank will increase heavily.

    Alexa rank can be used for the online reputation and visitors calculation of a website if the rank below 1 lakh. if its below 50000 the traffic of the website can be assumed easily.

    Alexa have no role in Google ranking. Better Alexa rank will not boost traffic and conversions.

    Like most metrics, not important at all.

    What matters most? Being passionate about learning your niche, practicing your craft, creating helping content and befriending top folks in your niche, by promoting them and helping them generously.

    Get those down cold and you will build a successful business. You will also care less about metrics, all of which are vanity metrics, when you observe these outcomes objectively. The getting aka outcomes happens easily when you focus 99% of your energies on the giving.
