    If you'd like to get quality backlinks - in addition to checking out Brian's site linked to on this thread - give the next 3-6 months of your life to top bloggers in your niche.

    Help them. Promote them. Link to them via your blog. Befriend them, by helping them without asking for anything in return.

    Work on your writing - practicing daily - while you befriend top bloggers.

    Months down the road, you will either gain invites to guest post on their blogs, or when you ask for a guest post, some of your blogging buddies will grant your wish, and then you can build some fabulous backlinks through guest posting.

    My DA and links in are pretty dang solid using this approach.

    As always, you have to earn quality links over time. Meaning, good links come with months or years of patience.

        You build your own PBN/web 2.0. Is it spam links??? I do it 4 years now and it's working very well. SE take you down when you don't know how to use PBN/web 2.0 or you open service sell backlinks with your network.

      Care to explain WTF is "quality" about those methods? Given that they are all methods that Google is targeting to penalize sites for with their Penguin algorithm I would be really interested to know what you think makes them "quality" links.

    If you only opt for the tailored content, I'd go for content marketing platforms like Adsy.com which I use as a source of contextual links.
