Google Algorithm

Hi all,

I was wondering if any experienced SEO guys can advise with the following questions

1) Is there any ''word on the street'' that due to New year coming soon Google will change it's Algorithms? And should I wait until January to do SEO on my website or it doesnt really matter?

2) I also want to redesign my website, should I FIRST redesign it and then do SEO or again it doesnt really matter?

1. Stop chasing algorithm changes.

One could literally say that the Algorithm changes on a daily basis and maybe more than once daily... As I recall Matt Cutts answered this question a number of years ago. He refered to having 40 changes in the Month of February in what ever year that was.

There just isnt a good or bad time to startwith SEO. Atthis point.. I would do the redesign first, and then work on the SEO.
