For one of my website I use my top keywords as my anchor texts almost every where.

Thank you!

    • Can you help me further.
I am micro niche blogger so I don't have in depth knowledge.
      Thank you.
  • Hi, If your using same anchor text for different keyword means no problem. otherwise your using same keyword same anchor text continuously means it can be consider as over optimized.

    • Considered by who?
Why would it be over optimized?
That is why it calls "anchor" to provide consistency otherwise you're messing up end results.

    • Thank you rajeshwari.
  • It's not natural. You want to mix it up. Straight URL, partial and complete text, bare, and other types.

    • And what should be the ratio of donofollow backlinks?
      • [1] reply
  • No it doesn't effect in ranking. You can use it everywhere.
  • That causes to drop their ranking in SERPs. Also, it looks bad to have too many links from same anchor text whether internal or external. To avoid this, try to get backlinks from mixed keywords or anchor texts. This will look natural to both Search engines and to the readers. So choose anchor text wisely. Do not use same anchor text everywhere.

  • Diversify anchor text and make sure that it includes primary and secondary keywords, your brand, URL and generic keywords. If you use exact match keywords in more than 60% of cases you are at high risk of being penalized by Google.

You need to mix up your anchor text. Some branded anchor, keyword anchor, naked, etc. Never just spam the same anchor text all over as that's a sure sign for google to take you down.

  • Try to use top keywords but for everything you should have some limit. It is not good if you go too far with a certain stuffs like anchors texts in each and every corner. It can hurt your ranking but also it can improve it if you play smart.

  • if you use same keyword anchoring again and again then it will be keyword stuffing. Keyword stuffing is very bad for Serp.

  • You question is quite unclear, can you please elaborate a bit
  • Make use of partial match and LSI keywords in your anchors.
  • The original Penguin algorithm filter specifically targeted the overuse of keyword rich anchors in backlinks and I'm sure it hasn't changed since then. A natural backlink profile where other sites decided all on their own to link to your site would never all be using the same exact keyword rich anchor text. There would be some keyword links - all likely using different arrangements of the words, there would be some that were just your website name and there would be plenty that said "click here".
