Hi..
I am running a Micro niche site. December 4th onwards my site ranked
first page at #8 position ; everything was going well .Since, Google algorithm update on 12th of December , my site ranking had dropped from #8 to #50 position. Currently only one of my supportive keyword has ranked #11 position, while I have not seen for the rank of any of my top keywords.
I have done some research on how to get my rank back. I found some points on it and I had done some changes according to them. They were as follows:
*I disavowed some bad backlinks from Google web master tool.It resulted in increase in my domain authority by 2.
*Added some additional information in my existing articles.but still I don't get my rank back.
I am confused. I don't no what goes wrong ?.
So please help me here!
Thank You...

Google has been making almost daily changes during the months of November and December, according to them. It's hard to say, without knowing your situation, what may have caused the drop. It sounds like you're making positive steps, such as disavowing bad backlinks. Keep working at it. Try to avoid questionable practices.

There are a lot of people who have suffered some big drops and many don't know why. It's the challenge we all face.
