    If you want to rank for "Web design agency in USA"
    1. You can fix location in google webmaster tool as a targeted location.
    2. You can do Google listing in particular USA region.
    3. In Facebook join only USA region groups to posting and sharing your stuff.
    4. You can do classifieds submission in particular targeted area.
    5. Analyse your competitors which are located in USA you can check their submission activities.

    Create relevant content that covers the topic holistically using related keywords that are semantically connected. In the age of semantic search there is even no need to use exactly target keywords in text to rank for them. Just make sure your topical relevance is higher than competitors'.. there is a bunch of other methods, of course, which you might use as well)

    First start of with on page optimization.
    Title Tag
    H1 Tag
    Meta tags
    alt tags
    keyword stuffing

    then go for off page activities for link building

      What is your point actually? and what is keyword stuffing for you?

      Don't know for what OP is up to? I think he is little bit confused between what keywords to choose or how to rank in Search Engine. Question & its description both are different to each other.
      Genuinely, I will suggest to look for what its competitors are planning and also for on-page/off-page matters to rank in Search Engine.

    1. google keyword planner
    2. Moz tool - analyse your competitor site
    3. SEMrush

        Yup, I know. The kind that needs to hire an SEO expert. Hopefully, when you get expert sqaured, the client gets what they paid for.

        How do you get money to do SEO and you don't know the first thing about SEO?

    I have to agree with all of the latest people posting to this thread. I read this and immediately thought "why are you asking people on the warrior forum, most of which have no clue what they are talking about?" If they have hired you to do this, you should have far more knowledge about how to select keywords and rank well than you are ever going to get here. You're supposed to be the expert and you are asking random people that you do not know, 99% of which are amateurs.

    Sad, there are so many pretenders out there stealing people's money.
