How best to get and do Backlinking?

Hey guys, I am looking heavily into backlinking now. I am seeing this info from a blog on the net:

Doing research I am seeing many people who post blogs on high PR sites charging hundreds of dollars for one link and people who have purchased such links say they have seen their rankings jump very quickly. Since I don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on purchasing high PR backlinks, can anyone tell me how I can get high PR backlinks without paying people for their links please?

    • Nice share Dave, I am also often read articles from Backlinkco, there are ton of valuable guides I can learn.

    • Purchasing backlinks isn't bad you just have to be careful. And most of the sites rank just due to this.

      And for quality baclinks your should really go through what 'Dave' suggested.

  • I recommend writing posts and articles and publish them on your own hubpage, wordpress, blogger, ezinearticles, business website, etc.

    You can really get some good link juice if you submit a press release with prweb and provide an anchor text back to your site.

    It will cost a few hundred though.

  • How do they know if blog is "high PR"?
    Can you point us to such a "high PR" places?

    • Huffington Post seems to be one of the most recommended backlinks costing $400 or more according to writers who post on there.

      So unless guys, you are a good writer yourself you have no choice but to purchase expensive backlinks, is that it?
  • First of all, you dont need to focus on PR, they really dont matter. Try creating engaging blogs which you can use to drive traffic and build backlinks all together. And for more, as dave_hermansen stated, you should check Brian Dean's Tutorial once.
  • One mistake I've seen so many people make is that they use garbage/spun content when posting on the sites. Such a content does more harm than good. You don't necesarily have to be a rockstar writer but valuable content with backlinks is what works now, everything else is just waste of time and efforts.

They usually deindex and penalize websites suspected of involvement in such practices.
