Why Website Sessions Down

I have e-commerce website. This FY my website revenue has been increased but session decreased. Could you please suggest reason behind this.

I have checked my brand and non-brand traffic, keywords ranking, user behavior and all but didn't get reason for this.

Kindly assist.

    So, I take it you're getting less traffic, but the traffic you are getting is converting well. Look at where your customers are coming from.

    So, what has changed since the previous year?

    Is the number of unique visitors the same?

    If so, the site is simply converting better than it used to. People are making a decision quicker and not having to come back to the site several times, opening new sessions.

    If the number of unique visitors AND the number of sessions have decreased, that traffic decrease can usually be attributed to ads that aren't working as well, social marketing that isn't as effective as it used to be or search engine rankings falling (or it could just be that time of year).
