I guess I am trying to figure out what you are trying to accomplish with your article directory submissions. If you think it is going to help your site rank any better you can just stop right now. It won't.

If you are trying to get greater visibility and traffic from those article directories, fine but make sure they are places that actually have a solid base of real people who view the articles or you'll be wasting time and money on nothing (and if you aren't paying, you're not going to show up anywhere that matters).

Finally, to address your real concern (I think), submitting the same exact article to numerous places may very well cannibalize the rankings of the original article on your website. Google is not fond of indexing duplicate content so they will likely pick one site that they think is the best one to index for that content (and it likely will not be yours if those other sites have much better authority).

Just go with multiple directories. No issues will happen mate..

Submitting one article to ten websites can cause a duplicate content issue and that will definitely harm your rankings.I think it would be best for you to write unique and high-quality articles than to risk receiving a duplicate content issue.
