Does anyone know why daily "Total Sites Linking In" in alexa is getting decreased by 2 or 3?

    Why do you care? Alexa has nothing at all to do with rankings and even their search numbers are estimates. They have no clue how many people visit your site or 99% of other sites out there.

    As far as the number of sites linking to you goes, maybe some removed links to you; maybe some are no longer in existence.

    If you are using Google Search Console (Webmaster Tools) then you should check there. If Google doesn't show a decrease then what Alexa shows does not matter.
