Does Seo or google search ranking affect, if website domain path has sub-directory?

My website is in a folder, so example path of my website is (https://mywebsite.com/webshop/)
I want to know that does it affect on google search ranking or seo point of view, if my website in sub-directory folder (example - webshop).

    Yes, it's a factor in your onsite SEO. Having it in a sub directory is fine.

    Its effects yes. Well if it was in a sub-domain then the scenario will not be the same as now.
