I know...stupid question.

I have a landing page that has php in the url. The url is :abc dot com/products.php?catid=3&category=Enchanting%20Earring s

Could I move this landing page up the serps with this type of url (by using backlinks of course)?

    Well assuming you're just using "abc dot com" as an example, yes you CAN get dynamic url structures to rank, but it's much easier to do URL sculpting so that it's search engine friendly. A SE bot would not know what "catid=3" is, but you do have a keyword such as "Enchanting earnings" so that helpful. Check to see if your catalog management software allows for "search engine friendly URLS"
