How is this possible?

I am analyzing the traffic data of one of my competitors and I am shocked to discover that the site is just over three months old but the traffic is already at 600k organic a day.

The same month that the site was built, it received 638k organic

See screenshot here: http://www.okd2.com/wp-content/uploa...02/traffic.png

Is this possible without using an automated content generator, or content transfer?

I am considering 2 factors.

1. Domain is new but the content is old and came from another site. The old site then was redirected to this new domain so there was fast indexing.of links.

2. The site was created and loaded with thousands of articles the same day. I checked the site and on November alone, there were 8,000+ articles.

Actually, the content is not 100% totally unique as they are rewritten wikipedia pages.

I created a similar site but with totally unique content last month and I only discover this today. Since I am posting articles manually at 15 to 30 a day, the organic traffic is really fast growing, but this site is on different level...

What do you think? Any comment?

Thanks

I can partially agree with your first point. May be there is 301 redirect to the new domain address. So all the link juice is carried to the new domain name without requiring any additional SEO.

Without having good amount and trustworthy backlinks, it is nearly impossible to get such a high traffic from search engine. I think you should also see the backlinks overview for this domain. You will definitely come to discover some new info.

The site has 200k backlinks from just 52 referring IPs.. another head scratching data... It looks like backlinks from a private blog networks...

The number of articles they are posting is much more than that of yours. you need to post articles more interesting and ones related to latest market trends. i will recommend hiring good content writers for providing your viewers with something different in a better way.
Simply try to improve your content, traffic will automatically increase.

I am not concerned about the number of articles as I have no plan to stuff my site with tons of articles in just a short period of time. Virtual assistants is not a problem as well.. I have pretty large team...

My site that I just created have around 12 close competitors but this one really caught my attention...

As your information ,i guess that this is old site but moving a site with URL changes from google webmaster, thats why getting same number organic traffic same as old domain. This is not redirected domain, may be redirecting only previous indirect traffic, such as from directory ,posting ,press release etc etc

Yes, agree with your reply. I too think this could be one of the possible reasons.

Agreed with RomanEpo, It seems that they have redirected from previous domain and content is qualitative as well, Actually it would be great if you review the number of indexed pages in Google or SEMRush, That How many pages of this three month Old site has been indexed in Google, By Reviewing the organic traffic volume, it is pretty sure that this new website has tons of pages already indexed by Google, That's why it is getting very good amount of organic traffic.
