How hard is to get your site listed in the dmoz directory?

Hello Guys

Should I bother submitting my wordpress blogs to the dmoz site directory, I don't know if they accept blogs? What are the benefits to having you site listed? Its says on the dmoz site that it can take upto 7 months for you site to be proccesed.

    I'm not exactly sure how hard it would be to list your website in DMOZ, but luckily for me I somehow managed to get 2 of my websites into DMOZ However, both of them were not blogs so I don't know if that amounts to anything.

    Anyways, hope this helps!

        You have nothing to lose by submitting your site and it is worth doing but don't hold your breath waiting for your listing. I submit all my sites and around 20% end up in DMOZ. Sometimes it has only taken a couple of months and other times well over a year. I haven't seen any real direct benefit from being in DMOZ apart from a small amount of traffic and some link love. I think the main benefit is the kudos it gives your site if you were to ever flip it.
