Extracting Company Name from domain name/url!

Hey to the WF Community this is my first post!

I am fairly new to SEO i wanted to know if it is possible to extract company name from domain. I could just extract the name of the domain without the suffix however i want proper capitalization of the company name!

Any kind of info will be useful.

    I don't know what you want to do or what it has to do with SEO. Sounds like you have a list of domain names and want to extra the individual words such as warriorforum.com and get Warrior Forum.

    Assuming you are talking about many, perhaps thousands of domains (otherwise, just do it manually), best way I can think of doing this is with a dictionary database and routine. It would check the domain against words in the database. This would not work for everything. Say you have walmart.com, a made up name. More intelligence could be put in the routine to help get the best and hopefully correct match. For instance, penisland.com: is it Pen Island or Pen.. Land?
