Low competition for High vs Low Keyword volume count?

i am confused but i have my blogs!

if i find low competition and 20 keywords volume per month or
low competition and 100 to 500 volume keywords per month?

if i choosed 20 volume then it will come traffic 20 visitor per month?

better 10 to 20 volume or above 100 volume? you experienced before?

advice me?

    Most of the time they use low competition to establish the brand first then target for the high competition level.

        Not very often but there are still a some out there. "Ghost hunting equipment", for instance, has a relatively high number of searches (5,400/month in the USA on Google, alone) and isn't a super competitive search phrase. Sorry, but that's the only one that came to mind right off the bat that wasn't jeopardizing anyone's niche that I know of.

    Personally, I wouldn't waste my time optimizing around any phrase that got less than 300 searches per month. That's 10 per day and even if you rank #1, only 3 or 4 of those 10 will click on your listing. If you figure an average conversion rate of 2%, you'll get about one conversion per month for that 300/month search phrase IF you get to #1.
