Use google analytics to analysis your data. No tool will provide you accurate traffic data.

Google Analytics is also not an accurate tool to provide the complete data and its only 10 to 20%.

As others have said, the best solution to analysing the traffic to your site via Google is to use Google's own tools.

However, if you need to analyse your competitors, then switching to SEMRush, AHref or similar service will be a good idea. But not your own site

We use a free account with Spyfu.com to check on organic traffic. It's not perfect, but it gives you enough of an idea what sites are better than others as far as traffic goes.

Thanks. You got my question. I was asking for checking other website's data. Google webmaster tool couldn't do this.

The best way to know is to actually use the google webmaster tool.

It's free and one of the most accurate out there.

Recently had a chat with an Filipino acquaintance of mine. Never a dull conversation. He does some freelance SEO work on the side.

He was pretty staunch with sticking to Google Analytics when it comes to your own traffic. Semrush is only used for checking on other people's sites and even then, who's to say that the data you get from that site is accurate?

No, it's just a reference number. Don't put 100% trust on it.

Goolge Webmasters Tool is the best for market research. For competitors research use SEMRush whether you will get more data regarding your competitors.

Also google webmaster tools won't show you 100% accurate results. They also can't catch all the spider/ bot searches. Still they are best!
