Hey there,

Analyzing Ahrefs anchor texts. Sometimes I see "<a> no text </a>" what is that exactly?
Is is just leaving it empty like this <a href="www.website.com"> </a>
#search engine optimization #anchor #no text #text
  • That is probably from some idiot using a bot to create links and they don't know how to configure it properly.

  • No text in anchor text means between anchor text code, you have not included any targeted keyword or text.

Here I am sharing some details about the anchor text, that you can understand what's the meaning of anchor text and how you can use it.

Anchor text is the clickable and visible links. In browsers, it looks blue and underlined. and when cursor on its clickable, redirects you to the specific link.

The code sample of the anchor text-

    <a href="http://www.example.com">Example Anchor Text</a>

    What is anchor text?
Anchor text is the visible characters and words that hyperlinks display when linking to another document or location on the web. It usually appears as blue underlined text, but you change your website's link colors and styles through your HTML or CSS.

Anchor text can provide both search engines and users relevant contextual information about the content of the link's destination.
