SEO Problem for little Start-Up

Hi Guys,

I am new and not a big SEO guy. To this time i just worked with german wordpress Blogs (sorry for my english).
Now I am trying to rise a static site, just created with HTML five up to the top of google Results. Did everything I normally do with Blog articles Onpage, but https://menuvice.com/ is still not performing very well.

Is this because I am not using WordPress and continually write Articles? Or are there tremendous Onpage Flaws? Or will it yust take time? We are pretty new to the market.

Thank you guys for everythink, every tipp an help is much appreciated

    There is simply not enough valuable content on this site for a search engine to propel it in the rankings. If you are not going to have a lot of content that is specifically targeting search queries (and phrases you actually have a chance ranking for), you better have a TON of backlinks from related, reputable places.

    * Go to google and seach and write the term you are interested to rank for.
    * Copy the first results
    * Verify what backlinks they are working for them ( I use [http://www.linksspy.com](http://www.linksspy.com) to do this, but you can use other tools)
    * If they are getting their backlinks from resource lists, then you can contact the owners of those pages and they will add you as well since you are a competitor. (the above tool automate
    this process, so that it is already solved for you via templates)
    * Or you can see where they are buying their bakclinks from.
    * Or you can see if they are using a PBN and evaluate if you want to enter the competition and how much will cost you to rank.

    Jesus you people are stupid AF when it comes to SEO....including the OP who ironically has "SEO" in their username. DAFUQ???


    Your first mistake is not using a ccTLD since you're operating a German website. It should be .de not .com. Since it's .com, you should have sub-directories for translated versions. Which you don't.



    Just hang it up and quit. You shouldn't even associate yourself with SEO at all since you're clearly an amateur trying to play in the big leagues.

    Your website doesn't have a lot of written content. Google picks up the first header tags on your page like a title within the header 1 tag like this

    <h1> TITLE HERE </h1>
    You might need to in your HTML code in between the <head> </head> tag add meta tags for the keywords for google to show as well. Not sure if it will help but my website for client www.sichuangreenwich.co.uk ranks #1 for "Sichuan Greenwich" and on the first page for "Sichuan Restaurant" with barely any content.

    This is the code you use and you replace the content with your own

      Sorry, but all of this information might have been great at the turn of the century but search engines just don't work like that anymore.

      All major search engines stopped using meta keywords for ranking purposes more than a decade ago, so the only thing you are accomplishing with them is showing your competitors what keyword phases you are targeting if they view your pages' source code.

      The meta description also is not used by search engine algorithms, although, if someone types in the right keyword phrase, your meta description MAY show up as the description in search engine listings.

      Google got rid of the authorship tag in 2014 so it is doing nothing for you when you add it to your meta information.

      Finally, contrary to popular belief, things in H1 tags do not get extra attention and provide an extra SEO boost. That has not been a factor for quite some time.

        I'm glad you pointed that out to me! I had no idea. This is all the stuff I use to do.
        I just assumed it got to the first page on google from the meta tags. My si chuan website doesnt have a lot of content. It only has about 3 pages and not much copy how did it rank on the first page for 2 keywords? It has 22 million search results for Sichuan Restaurant.
        Is there any point in adding it at all anymore?

        I feel a bit bad for offering the wrong information but it's what I did so I'm only sharing from experience. I'm glad you've corrected me for the OP's sake and also for my own.

          There are nearly 200 ranking signals that Google uses. For all I know, you only rank well when you do a search, based upon your geolocation, the device you are using, the number of times you have visited the website and whether or not you are signed into a Google account at the time you search. Those all play a factor in rankings today.

          The age of the site and how users interact with it also play a role, although the site age, in and of itself, is not necessarily a ranking factor but it may lead to more "trust" by search engines and you may have picked up some backlinks along the way that have been around for a long time.

          Also, those may not be very competitive search phrases. The number of people searching does not tell you how competitive a phrase is. Only which pages are on the first page of search results already give you an indication of how competitive a phrase is to rank for.

    Content is King But SEO is queen. So, Whatever you are doing keep it up. Give your 100% things must be good after sometime. SE0 is the good way to get organic traffic to your site. You have to promote your site on the social sites which site like by the people most. Like facebook,Twitter.
    So you have to create backlinks for your site.

    Super tough to rank well for static Burt because Google loves fresh content, published frequently. If you want search traffic go with the wordpress dot org blogs you usually build. Easier way to rank and to grow any business versus a static page.

    FYI; the page itself looks great from my view, especially for a sales page. Run a blog, link to this sales page and you will do A-OK.

      This is absolutely untrue. Google loves fresh content when it is about a fresh, up to the minute story that changes frequently. Evergreen content that hasn't been changed in a decade still frequently ranks #1 because it is the best information today, just as it was a decade ago.

      The frequency with which you publish things has no bearing at all on your rankings. What DOES affect the rankings is that some of the things you publish will rank for new keyword phrases - not because you published it frequently, but because your site now has more pages that have different words on them.
