    Both on-page and Off-page is responsible for Ranking down.
    On-page is responsible for down ranking if :
    Web-page has high load time, because no one like slow pages as a result people leave the page quickly that increase the bounce rate of page.

    Use proper meta description and url. try to make content as long as possible but always stay in boundary of topic so that users won't leave page in short span of time, you can use photo and video to make users continuity in reading. Use flashy words if your contents too long to reactive readers.
