The only guaranteed safe way to index your backlinks is to just let search engine crawlers do their thing.

At a minimum, it usually takes around 1-2 weeks before new links get crawled.

After that, the trick to making sure your backlinks get indexed is beautifully simple: Track them, and track the process.

Not too effective at all these days because Google forces you to earn search traffic, through authentic blog commenting and valuable guest posting. Focus your energies on creating helpful content and building bonds with folks to expand your reach. Best ways to tighten up your SEO game. Submissions are more of a 10 year ago thing but Google saw it was too easy to game this system, as low quality sites appeared on page 1 too frequently during those days.

Google is absolutely not forcing people to get search traffic through blog commenting and guest posting. They are not really a fan of either one.

    Hey,

All the search engines consider the number of back links you have. Directory submission will give your website the required back links. By listing your website in the top directories, your website will get the required exposure online and visibility online.

I also prefers directory submission for highly quality back links.Affordable SEO Company | Organic Search Engine Optimization | SEO Consultants

Yes, they will rank your new webpage with no backlinks for the keyword buy auto insurance at $394 in one of the top 3 search positions.

      • nationwide.com
      • progressive.com
      • geico.com

...they're all wasting millions of dollars on SEO when they could spend $394 a month.

You can try free dofollow directories. I particularly like https://www.direectory.com/

There are many others, if you have good experiences I would appreciate with other directories having more concrete references

Correction, idiots who are claiming they has been dead regrettably still alive in forums.

Show me when, where and how G. or any other reputable Internet's leading entities,
had declared, announced or claimed that they are going to ignore web directories
including links, titles and descriptions or any info about websites they provided.

If idiots by any chance would be smart, they would know that if no one tells G. about
new site, crawlers would never visit that site thus making directory the best friend
new site owner would ever have.

Idiots would know that to get listed in Directory, they don't have to host posting,
commenting or doing any stupid things "SEO Pros" are vomiting in almost every post
because 99.9% of the time directory will add link to site and high end directories
editors would make sure that titles and descriptions will be SEO friendly.

Yes, something is dead... brain, knowledge, common sense, experience, expertise
of wannabees "SEO Pros" but I can promise you NOT Web Directories.

That must be a joke...cuz you CANNOT be serious.....

If that's not a joke, you must have been the kid that put his hand on the stove....ya know...show me it's hot, dang it!

No wise man has the power to reason away what a fool believes.

If you "need" to be shown, holy crapola...

about 8 years ago....google started cleaning house. And they have never looked back.

Do a google search for, oh free link directory. Then try and find one that the links are not nofollow, and the page they are on exists...and ranks anywhere for anything.

        Go hunt unicorns.

I'm dead serious and when you learn that Google start "cleaning house" in 2006
after starting war on backlinks by dropping cross the board directories PR including
DMOZ, BOTW, AMRAY and many others from PR 6 to PR 3, you can talk to me,
otherwise go and use your useless "wisdom" to brainwash some born yesterday
"SEO Pros" who are still listening to your verbal puke.

There is NO submission service that is worth a dime.

So any site or webmaster that feels the need to use them, is lame and clueless and won't have any success anyway.

So go ahead. Keep acting stupid and listening to fools.

You can submit your website links at search engine submission sites. They are really very good for traffic making. And also you can do social media - this brings lots of huge traffic.

Ah, but how you know which directories are the best?

Search for "web directories" would offer you a bunch of all sorts of lists
claiming they are containing the best directories and yet as a rule more
than 70% of these directories either dead on arrival or compounded by
some "SEO Pro" by grabbing a few directories here and there hoping
to get luck in SERP. Sad part, they are more often than not are lucky.

      Example.
DMOZ, Yahoo stop offering services long time ago and yet even highly
regarded SEO sites still have them listed and get this, continue show
5 years after it die, directory PR

Yes, there are good directories that offering Hi-Fi backlinks but at least
you know how to spot them, there is good chance you'll waste your time
and in some cases money for nothing.
