Can an adwords advertiser request to be included on my site?

I've got a niche site up and sitting at #5 google for the main keyword. This is one of those seasonal crazes that comes along ever so often like beanie babies or the venerable pet rock. This particular niche is about to explode with traffic.

I'm running adsense and getting about 100 impressions a day, however conversions are lower than I'd like because none of the ads are hitting the sweet spot and offering this exact product. They are all about products similar to my keyword.

When I do a google search on my keyword, I see several ads that are right on the money. And one ad at the very top of the Google SERPS for the main company behind the product.

My question is...

If I call the company directly and ask them to consider including me in their content network rotation, is this technically possible for them do to?

Otherwise, I'm thinking of negotiating an ad or text links on my site for this company. However, I don't want to do something that will jeopardize my top G ranking. Any ideas how to avoid that and still pimp this product?

Yep, they can target your site specifically by adding a custom placement in their Adwords account.
