I find the competitor's bounce rate from alexa and similarweb.

But, I want exactly page wise bounce rate.

For example,

abc.com bounce rate is 50%.

But I also want to know bounce rate of, abc.com/services page.

Is it possible to know page wise bounce rate of cometitor's website?

Why in the world would you care about a competitor site page's bounce rate? It has nothing to do with rankings.

Unless you have access to their analytics, you will never know what their bounce rate is.

Bounce rate is not a factor in rankings of a site.

You need to be more concerned with the conversion of your site and give the best user experience to draw them into your business.

If your site gets fewer visitors than your competition but converts more of them into paying customers then you are far better off.

Focus on what makes your money. Traffic and conversions.

  • Alexa provides a guestimation of just about every site's bounce rate. The problem is, it's not that accurate. If I look at my site and compare Alexa to GA, there is a huge disparity.

    Bounce Rate
    Alexa: 56% - GA: 65%

    Daily Pageviews/Visitor
    Alexa: 8.6 - GA: 1.26

    Time on Site
    Alexa: 15:31 - GA: 1:23

Here's the big takeaway, you can use Alexa to benchmark and track a competitor, but never think you are getting true statistics. I use it to see if my competitors are making gains on my site that is currently ranking in the neighborhood of 150K on Alexa worldwide.

Alexa is a very poor at predictive analystics. It relies on the behaviour of a very select few years who have installed its plugin and extrapolates from their behaviour.

But as others have said, this is a stupid metric to track

Alexa tells you right on their About Us page that they are only estimating things. They have absolutely no clue how much traffic any site gets, let alone the bounce rate. They would have to have access to a site's analytics to know that and relatively few morons have given Alexa access to that information. They base their guesses on what they know about the few that they have access to. Our newest eCommerce site gets more than 12,000 visitors per month and Alexa estimates it as less than 200.

Honestly, I have absolutely no idea why anyone ever even looks at Alexa. It is one of the biggest shams on the internet. Their last stated number of websites that installed the toolbar so that they could track them was 10 million but that stat is from 2005. They have not published a number since then that I know of. We can only wonder how many of those 10 million websites are still active but today, there are 1.5 billion websites. At most they have information about usage on .5 to 1% of all websites and you can only wonder about the quality of the websites they are tracking. Really, who would install that?

I'd ask yourself: why aim low, or high, or....mediocre? Your call but I'd focus less on competition and stats and more on serving your audience. Big time shift that allows stats to take care of themselves.

There are many tools available for tracking the metrics of your competitor's website like SEMRush, Alexa & SimilarWeb.

From my personal experience, I have found SimilarWeb a bit more useful in gauging these metrics. It gives you a fair idea of the bounce rate & time on page metrics of your competitor's website. You can get traffic estimates as well.

    Hope it helps!
