Hey guys, I am seeing various article builders on the net which allows you to have as they claim "unique" auto-generated content for blogging on a daily basis. Is this safe [for google rankings] to use please?

  • There are many tools. But if the content produced looks automated and may have been written by a robot then its of no use.

It's not even possible to judge an article without seeing an example.

    Post an example.
  • Those article builders are trash.

What they do is scrape a bunch of articles on a topic. They take the first paragraph from one article, the second from another article, the third from a different article, etc. They then spit out your new "unique" article from these rearranged paragraphs. Some of them spin the content, which just makes it read even shittier.

It's just garbage content that won't even make any sense as you read it.

  • That was/is my gut feeling on "spun" content in general.
  • There are only two tools you'll ever need to build the best articles ever written in the history of writing itself.

    Your mind and your keyboard.
  • Google translate.
  • Yeah, avoid article builders completely. They are terrible. You need to have quality content written specifically for you by native English speakers.
  • I can't really fathom why someone would ever want to "build" a website that spews automated stuff - even if there was anything out there that actually created something that was beyond first grade level writing.

A website is an opportunity to create something that is yours - something better than any other site out there in your niche. That should be the goal of every site (and, of course, to make some money while doing it in most cases).

Lazy doesn't work for anything in life. I'm not sure why people think that the internet will be different.

There's million/billion dollar businesses using content created by algos, and no, they're not using it because nobody else can afford it. Anyone with coding experience or willing to learn can do this on their own.

OP also didn't say the niche. That matters because some content is easier to automate when it deals with data like the list below.
    • Finance
    • Insurance
    • Sports
    • etc...

All the businesses below use content created by algos.
    • Cisco
    • Activision
    • Amazon
    • Yahoo
    • LA Times
    • etc...

This forum has low quality IM on the brain like life doesn't exist outside of this place. Ugh.

    • I guess I misread the question (not). The OP seemed to be looking for article spinners, not an aggregator. All of the above companies also bring something to the table in addition to aggregated content and none of them that I am aware of are spinning other websites' content with an automated tool and trying to pass it off as their own.

  • I wouldn't trust any article building software out there. And neither should you.

If you want to have a unique article, Write something yourself. But if you're not confident with your writing skills, don't be afraid hire someone to write for you. Look for someone who speaks English well. You'd have better output if you outsourced this. Heck, I've hired Filipino VAs who aren't native English speakers but write better stuff than I ever will.

Whatever you do, don't trust those robot writers.
  • Yes I agree with mikefriedman. All these tools are garbage. If you use these tools and post article on your website there may be a chances of drop in keywords and decrease in traffic

I agree with the replies here.
Google's AI is smart enough to tell the difference between Algo/Software-generated content and human written content.
I would suggest you to tap into Fiverr or Upwork and hire really good content writers from over there for your website.
Using these spinners and algo-generated content will not work in your favor in the long run.

      B@llshit.

You guys are clueless and parroting because you don't understand the difference between footprints and automation.

This is good though because the lack of understanding is exactly what holds back amateurs and keeps them from becoming competition.

      Fiverr? What the hell?

Fiverr is shit and upwork isn't much better.
  • I will suggest not to use these automated content generating tools as there is no use of such trash content (Created by Robots) in SEO. I think content created by large chunks of machines & not reviewed by a professionals will make little or no sense to anyone.

Instead of using automated generated content try to write unique content by yourself or just review & re-write the automated content.
  • I got it guys, was just something I was looking into but will not use spun content appreciate all of the advice given here.
  • if your thinking of using these tools for your money sites think again

unless they can add value other than spiting out words these tools are not worth the effort of using since Google has use AI for checking relevancy
