This morning I have copied a post from my own blog and tried to check the result for it from an online free plagiarism checker tool but the result was horrible!! I was shocked!! It was showing 95% unique. Howcome? ?? The post has already been published in my blog and it was a 3 years old post. If you want to see the proof, you can have a look here Results from Online Free Plagiarism Checker Tool.

Assuming the content is still or ever was in Google's index, simply copying a chunk of text and pasting it into a Google search usually shows if it has been used before. If Google doesn't know about it, it really doesn't matter much if it is duplicate (other than someone MIGHT be able to sue). Interesting article about that today on SearchEngineJournal.
